This study explores how online discussion forums can enhance undergraduate students’ workplace learning by providing a platform for reflection and knowledge sharing. Conducted at a semi-private Emirati university, the research used thematic analysis to evaluate students' contributions to the forum. Findings reveal that students valued the orientation week and the practical skills acquired, though they faced challenges such as integration, time management, and language issues. Despite these challenges, students reported improved practical skills and smoother transitions to professional contexts. The study recommends incorporating online discussions into workplace learning programs and conducting pre-internship orientations to set clear expectations.
