This study explores the use of Online Discussion Forums (ODFs) in Nigerian universities' e-learning environments, focusing on factors influencing their effectiveness based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) 3. By surveying 121 Library and Information Science (LIS) postgraduate students, the research identifies that computer self-efficacy, perceptions of external control, computer anxiety, and computer playfulness significantly impact the use of ODFs. The study advocates for promoting ODFs to enhance learning outcomes in postgraduate education.
