This research focuses on using social media posts from Reddit forums to assess suicide risk, driven by the CLPsych 2019 shared task. The study developed neural network-based methods employing Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) with a multi-headed Attention-based autoencoder architecture. The system achieved the second-best performance with a 0.477 macro-averaged F measure in Task A of the challenge. Among the approaches tested, the single BERT model analyzing all posts from a user performed best across all tasks.
