This paper analyzes posting behavior on extremist online forums to identify and define classes of highly active users, termed 'super-posters.' By examining a dataset comprising over 12 million posts from far-right, Salafi-jihadist, and Incel forums, the study reveals four distinct classes of posters, ranging from ‘hypo-posters’ to ‘hyper-posters.’ The research shows that while hyper-posters exhibit high activity, they are not always the most central figures in these forums. These insights enhance the understanding of online radicalization dynamics and inform strategies for monitoring and intervention.
