This paper details the development of the Inquiry Learning Forum (ILF), a web-based tool designed to support mathematics and science teachers in sharing and improving inquiry-based pedagogical practices. The ILF employs a "visiting-the-classroom" metaphor to create a collaborative online space where teachers can observe, discuss, and reflect on teaching practices. The paper discusses the evolution of the ILF from a focus on usability to sociability, and the challenges encountered in its design and implementation.
