This article examines prejudicial and racist discourse in reader comments on the Czech news site iDnes.cz. It analyzes user comments about Central European Roma immigrants in the UK, focusing on three main themes: the re-education of the ethnic minority, perceptions of media bias, and negative stereotypes linking the outgroup to criminality. The study demonstrates how such discourse reinforces negative stereotypes and normalizes everyday racism by highlighting the complex interactions between commenters (ingroup), the ethnic minority (outgroup), and the media.
