This paper addresses the extraction of question-answer pairs from online forums, aiming to enhance Question Answering services like Yahoo! Answers. It proposes a sequential patterns-based classification method to identify questions within forum threads and a graph-based propagation method to detect corresponding answers. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of these techniques, highlighting their potential for improving the utility of user-generated content in forums.
