This study examines the frequency of content-related questions posed by students and answered by instructors in MOOC discussion forums. A classification model was developed to identify these questions using linguistic features. The results indicate that content-related questions were infrequent and often overlooked by instructors, but the linguistic modeling approach proved effective in reliably identifying such questions.
