The paper explores the use of multiphase user-centered design workshops, termed Future Forums, to co-create game elements that enhance code security. By engaging code-citizens in discussions and co-design activities centered around their personal experiences and viewpoints on cybersecurity, the study uncovered key themes such as coder practices and ethical behavior. The co-created game elements offer insights into how coding practices can be represented in serious games, providing valuable implications for the design of cybersecurity-oriented games and methodologies in HCI.
