This study examines 717 posts from 328 users across three English-language cannabis self-help forums to identify key self-help mechanisms and areas of interest. The analysis reveals that disclosure and symptoms are the primary focus, with less emphasis on legal issues and social perceptions. The forums vary in their focus areas and self-help mechanisms, except in social network and financial/vocational issues. Highly involved users tend to engage more with topics on diagnosis, research, and information provision, while showing a moderate negative correlation between emotional support and illness-related discussions.
