This article examines discussions about the supernatural in contemporary Finland through a variety of online and media sources, including personal letters. It highlights the diverse ways in which supernatural experiences are discussed and interpreted across different forums. The research identifies five main discourses: science-oriented, mental health, popular Christian, fundamental Christian, and alternative spiritual. These discourses offer varying explanations and interpretations, with experiencers often adjusting or challenging existing worldviews to accommodate their experiences. The study reveals a spectrum of opinions and critiques, reflecting broader debates about the nature of supernatural phenomena and the limitations of scientific and religious perspectives.
