The virtual learning environment, driven by technological advancements, has enhanced interaction among educators and learners through synchronous and asynchronous modes, shifting from a teacher-centered to a learner-centered approach. This transformation has positively impacted language learning. However, challenges such as learner frustration, anxiety, higher attrition rates, and the need for greater self-motivation have been identified. Online forums (OLFs) offer an opportunity to extend learning beyond traditional classroom boundaries, allowing for continued interaction and discussion outside of scheduled class times.
