Crowd worker forums are essential for trust-building among workers, which is often lacking in specialized tools. This paper compares the governance styles of the four largest Mechanical Turk forums and discusses the development of a new worker-owned, democratically governed forum. The goal is to enhance trust between workers and requesters, improve work quality, and create a better work experience.
