This article presents a qualitative analysis of three online discussion forums for domestic abuse victims and survivors, focusing on technology-facilitated abuse. The analysis identifies three key themes: the various forms of technology-facilitated abuse discussed, the use of technology by forum members in the context of intimate partner abuse, and the digital privacy and security advice shared. The article highlights the dual role of digital technologies in abuse scenarios, exploring both the challenges and benefits of digital ubiquity, issues related to digital evidence, and the efforts required to manage digital privacy and security.
