In the 2016 CLPsych Shared Task, we developed a system to predict the severity of user posts in mental health forums. Our approach utilized a meta-classifier trained with base classifiers that analyzed lexical, syntactic, and metadata features from both the target posts and their contexts. This meta-classifier, further enhanced into a Random Forest of meta-classifiers, achieved top performance, ranking first out of 60 entries in the competition.
