This research addresses the challenge of determining the expertise level of forum members to ensure the validity of knowledge shared in online forums. The study introduces a novel algorithm for assessing expertise based on context. Using the AskMe forum as a case study, the research involves several stages: developing a web crawler to collect forum data, processing the data, and calculating expertise levels using the proposed algorithm. The accuracy of this method is then evaluated and compared to other existing methods.
