This study explores student sentiments and opinions about Language MOOCs (LMOOCs) by analyzing comments from 60 LMOOCs' discussion forums. Using sentiment and content analysis, the research finds that most comments are positive and shows a positive correlation between student sentiment and course ratings. Five key themes emerge from the data: attitudes towards LMOOCs, comments on the courses, evaluations of instruction and instructors, learning outcomes, and suggestions for improvement. The study also examines learners' concerns and the ways they may express feedback euphemistically. Recommendations for LMOOC instructors and developers, as well as future research directions, are discussed.
