The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected parents, but few studies have examined how they use online parenting forums for stress discussion and support. This study analyzed 337 threads from two popular Canadian parenting forums, identifying three main stressor themes: household stressors, child health, and parental health. Findings suggest that online interventions focusing on stress management and self-compassion, as well as integrating forums into mental health organizations' websites, could benefit parents. Future research should explore other virtual methods parents use for information and support.
