This study evaluates critical learning in 10–11 year-old students studying global citizenship through an online discussion forum. Using content analysis and keyword identification, the research finds that students engage in exploratory talk, expand their understanding of global citizenship concepts, and demonstrate higher-order thinking. The results establish that collaborative online discussions foster critical learning and highlight the effectiveness of dialogical frameworks and concept mapping as evaluation tools.
