This article reviews the impact of Indonesia's participation in international forums, specifically the G20 Forum, on its economic and political policies. Indonesia, a leading economic power in ASEAN and the fifth-largest economy in Asia, has hosted significant international events such as the 2022 G20 Forum and IMF/World Bank Group activities in Bali. The review finds that participation in these forums positively influences Indonesia's economy by boosting foreign investor confidence and job creation. Additionally, it highlights how political policies shaped by international engagements affect the country’s economic landscape. The study utilizes qualitative and literature-based research methods to analyze these impacts.
