The paper introduces the Suman system, a technology-based Q&A solution designed to address the problem of unanswered questions on forums like StackOverflow and Reddit. Suman combines semantic keyword search with traditional text search techniques to identify similar questions with existing answers and recommends experts who can address unanswered questions. Utilizing Semantic Web and Linked Data technologies, Suman integrates and structures datasets from these platforms, solving name entity disambiguation issues and enhancing query terms with added semantics. The evaluation results demonstrate the system's effectiveness in narrowing down the long tail of unanswered questions.
