This study explores how chronic cough sufferers utilize online health forums for sharing treatment advice and support. By analyzing 96 threads with contributions from 223 users, three main themes emerged: the impact of chronic cough on patients' lives, the treatment advice exchanged, and the supportive environment fostered within the forums. Users discussed a range of treatments, from conventional to alternative remedies, highlighting the importance of empathy and community support. The study suggests that moderated forums could enhance the benefits for users.
