This research addresses the gap in requirement mining literature by focusing on product forums, which are often overlooked despite being a valuable source of user feedback for software development. The study identifies that product forums contain rich, untapped user requirements but extracting them manually is time-consuming. The research introduces forum-specific classifiers designed to categorize feedback more effectively than existing tools, such as those used for app stores. Preliminary findings demonstrate the superior performance of these classifiers, and the research plan aims to develop an industry-evaluated tool for analyzing forum data.
