Background
When you report bugs to IPS, the company may periodically release patch updates in between major releases to help clients resolve specific issues.
Fortunately, there is a way to apply patch updates at any time in the Support section of the ACP.
Before You Begin
Be sure that you can login to your ACP.
It's recommended that any work that you do in the ACP be on Desktop.
Steps
- In the ACP, navigate System > Support.
- In the widget for the Invision Community version, you will see text "Optional patch available" with button [Fix this]
- Click [Fix this] to apply the patch
