How to unsubscribe

I checked my notifications, and I am not subscribed to any yet.  I get regular emails from the site about topics I am not interested in.

How do I unsubscribe?

I was wondering this too but I believe I found it. If you go to your account dropdown and choose Followed Content, then select the Discussion tab on the left, you'll have a list of content you're subscribed to by default. Unsubscribe to your heart's content.
