  1. Have you uploaded the .htaccess file (I guess it was the API folder)? Sure all admin settings are correct? Tried the link to your domain without https:// ? Sry but I can only guess.
  2. You don't need an IP (at least for testing). It works only in combination with the key you provide to MAKE. PS: If no endpoint can be found try without https://
  3. You can automate things like that without an app too. Just MAKE it ...
  4. It sounds as if the old editor has to go asap because it's getting too expensive. vBulletin used to do that from time to time and afaik they even paid out the developers of the addons. IPS is doing it too, for example Pages databases in Clubs was an application by Sonya* but I don't think she was asked or even got any money. Please correct me if I'm wrong with this. I'm prepared, none of my important projects uses IPS anymore. From former 7 licenses only one is still active. True. And that is why in my opinion closing the Marketplace was a good thing, we have more freedom and no more limitations.
  5. Have they removed the monthly payment? I'm still on USD 19 for the Classic subscription.
  6. You should check out the Classic package for self hosted, it are about 20 bucks per month/license. All official announcements can be found in their blog and I think guests can see it too. There's nothing special in that thread, not even which editor it will be. For definite information I would wait for an official news ... https://invisioncommunity.com/news/
  7. The biggest competitor in forum software already has something better than CKEditor. If THIS would not be, we would be stuck on the legacy one ...
  8. My files are availiable somewhere else now ... https://invisionify.com/files/ Still can't change the links on this site because IPS hasn't fixed that bug 🤬
  9. Why mix WP and IPS? If you already have IPS then use Pages. If your site is primary WP and you just need a forum, a full suite like Invision would be OP. There are better (and less expensive) ways.
  10. Honestly said I don't need all this webmaster bla bla too. Recently it looks like all the same people are posting all the same topics like on all other admin forums too, to spam signature links or whatever. Hoped this would become besides downloads more a kind of modding community like vbulletin.org
  11. Yes, will be 5. Hope this version is compatible with more 3rd party integrations like pup.js, 4 is not.
  12. Quick and dirty: Open the template forums -> front -> topics -> post and find ... {template="reputation" group="global" app="core" params="$comment"} Change to ... {{if $comment->isFirst()}} {template="reputation" group="global" app="core" params="$comment"} {{endif}}
  13. Yes, but you have a backup and can move somewhere else without losing everything.
  14. Because there are better ones now. And if you're going to make everything newer and better, why not improve one of the most important elements in a forum: the editor. In this case, XenForo has made a good decision.
  15. Bye bye theme hooks, I'm hoping for a big clean up. Too bad they don't replace the outdated editor.
  16. Sure you can, but don't forget ... They can kick you whenever they want and you have no backups.
  17. Think about where the focus of your site lies. If you only need a small forum on the side, for example for customer support, WP plugins are ok.
  18. No, a relict from the past (and perhaps also one of the reasons why forums are losing popularity) but I leave users the option to chose.
  19. Depends on what kind of website you have and your target audience.
  20. Both is important. When a site looks like sh*t most people immediately close it. When there is no good content, people won't stay too.
