This article delves into the strategies for motivating and managing online community members effectively by understanding their usage intentions and diverse needs. Utilizing structural role theory, social network analysis, and examining members' contribution behavior, the study first identifies distinct user roles within online communities. It then applies the technology acceptance model to explore these members' usage intentions and assesses how different user roles moderate these intentions. The findings aim to assist practitioners in crafting targeted motivational strategies to ensure the ongoing satisfaction and engagement of various user types in online communities.
