This chapter highlights the effectiveness of the Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework in studying student learning and satisfaction in e-learning environments. By focusing on social, cognitive, and teaching presence, the CoI framework facilitates higher learning outcomes and increased satisfaction. Findings from two online courses utilizing the CoI approach reveal high levels of perceived and actual learning outcomes, indicating the framework's efficacy.
