This paper explores the impact of language use within online social networks, particularly focusing on how thematic communities form around shared interests (co-interest) on platforms like Twitter and Reddit. Using Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning, the study analyzes the characteristics of language that contribute to the cohesion and strength of online communities. The findings reveal that while user popularity is a significant factor, the specific language used also plays a crucial role in building strong online communities.
