This qualitative case study investigates how successful online learning communities for K-12 educators foster and sustain knowledge sharing and trust. Through an in-depth examination, key factors identified include a clear purpose and common identity, diverse opportunities for social learning, the presence of an experienced and credible moderator, and the modeling and enforcement of appropriate online behavior. These elements collectively contribute to the rich and supportive exchange of ideas, experiences, and resources among educators, addressing some of the most significant challenges online communities face.
