This manuscript explores the integration of communities and communities of practice (CoPs) within online forums, emphasizing their significance for educational professionals in higher education. By leveraging constructivist and sociocultural frameworks, it argues for the benefits of online forums in faculty support, proposing a hybrid model that combines online and face-to-face interactions. This approach is presented as a culturally sensitive and viable solution to enhance faculty development, socialization, and mentoring, with practical resources for implementation provided.
