The discussion on how global Catholic organizations utilize digital media has shifted towards themes of participation, social justice, and reaching new audiences. From the Vatican to individual profiles of the Pope on social media, Catholicism demonstrates a growing presence online, creatively extending religiosity to new platforms while adhering to rules. New digital portals emphasize participatory tools, reshaping concepts like communion within Christian communities. This study examines the top 19 Catholic websites based on Alexa ranking, categorizing them to analyze community-building and fostering a sense of belonging. Data collected over three years (2014-2016) include websites in five languages from nine countries, reflecting Catholic population indexes.
