"Computer-supported team-based learning" (2010) by Elizabeth Avery Gomez, Dezhi Wu, and Katia Passerini explores how technology can support team-based learning, which is an effective approach to teaching that promotes collaboration and active participation. The authors present a case study that examines the effectiveness of team-based learning in a graduate-level course using an online environment. The study found that students who participated in team-based learning demonstrated better understanding of the course material and higher levels of satisfaction with the course compared to those who did not. The authors also discuss the benefits and challenges of using technology to support team-based learning.
