This paper investigates the impact of recommending social media content to enterprise community leaders on the activity and engagement levels of their communities. Through a large-scale user survey with four recommendation rounds, leaders indicated their willingness to share items with their communities, with the option to instantly share them. Recommendations were based on seven types of community interest profiles. The findings suggest that providing content recommendations to leaders can enhance community activity.
