This study delves into the dynamics of value co-creation and co-destruction by older adults within an online community (OC), using practice theory and service-dominant logic for analysis. It identifies three practices of value co-creation: communal coping, happiness creation, and social capital generation, alongside one practice of value co-destruction: disparaging practices aimed at older adults. The findings highlight the dual role of OCs in facilitating resilience through co-creation while also posing risks through co-destruction. This research fills a gap in understanding older adults' engagement in OCs, offering insights for service providers on fostering well-being through online interactions.
