This poster explores the concept of affordances in social media, particularly focusing on how anonymity is shaped by platform features. It is part of a larger research agenda aimed at understanding how specific affordances influence user behavior in online communities, identifying the platform features that enable or limit these affordances, and assessing their impact on prosocial behavior. Prosocial behavior in this context refers to actions within information and communication technologies (ICTs) that benefit other community members, potentially enhancing the subjective well-being (SWB) of the entire community. SWB is defined by experiences of high positive affect, low negative affect, and a sense of high life satisfaction.
