This paper explores the dynamics of knowledge sharing behavior within learning online communities through the lens of social capital theory. Drawing on a social perspective, the study investigates how various dimensions of members' social capital interact to influence knowledge sharing behavior. Based on 478 valid survey responses, hypotheses regarding the relationships between social interaction ties, reciprocity, trust, shared vision, and knowledge sharing behavior were tested. Analytical results reveal significant impacts of reciprocity and social interaction ties on knowledge sharing within learning online communities. The implications of these findings are discussed in the context of enhancing knowledge sharing practices.
