Knowledge management is increasingly vital for organizations, involving leveraging knowledge both internally and externally. Online communities play a key role in knowledge management strategies, fostering a sense of belonging, enhancing connections, and driving innovation and learning. However, measuring the value of these communities to the organization remains a critical challenge. This paper aims to explore existing work in this field and propose a methodology for assessing the value of online communities.
