This study investigates the prerequisites for the emergence of collective intelligence (CI) within online communities utilizing innovative social technologies. Focusing on collective decision-making, creativity, entrepreneurship, and cooperation, the research employs qualitative content analysis to examine the development of CI in these digital environments. Through a detailed comparison between interview data and the theoretical framework for the CI Potential Index, this study aims to enhance the understanding of CI and refine the methodological approach for evaluating its potential.
