This paper examines Malaysian university students' awareness of threats in online social networks, particularly Facebook, and measures their vulnerability to identity theft and online harassment. Considering the maturity of social networks in terms of users and services, the study aims to determine students' concerns about privacy in online communities and their use of privacy enhancement tools to protect personal information.
