This article discusses the transformation of communication processes due to the rise of online communities, which have largely replaced traditional means of communication. While the aims of communication, such as altering outlooks and provoking actions, remain unchanged, the online environment has introduced the problem of manipulation. This manipulation poses threats to individuals, national security, and the management of online communities. To address this issue, the article presents criteria for the early detection of manipulation, alongside methods and algorithms, including Moore machines and piecewise linear aggregates, to formalize and combat manipulative tactics.
