The COVID-19 pandemic increased mental health risks for pregnant women, necessitating accessible interventions for pandemic-related stress. This study developed and implemented a three-session intervention called "Online Communities" (OC) by a team of midwives and psychologists. Pretest and posttest measurements compared OC participants to two reference groups, showing reductions in depressive symptoms and COVID-19-related worries post-intervention. While bonding did not significantly improve, participants rated the intervention positively, suggesting OC as a promising intervention for pregnant women facing pandemic-related stress.
