This paper presents the findings of an online survey that explores the relationship between personality traits, based on the Five-Factor Model, usage patterns, and the extent of information disclosure among participants in various online communities. It highlights the gap in existing literature regarding the influence of personality traits on information disclosure within these communities, despite the recognition of online communities' significant impact on privacy issues and the extensive amount of personal information users tend to share.
