Seely Brown and Duguid's book, "The Social Life of Information," discusses how people in organizations and societies use and share information. They argue that the current dominant model of information technology does not fully support social interaction and learning. The authors also explore the importance of communities of practice and how these groups function as a means of sharing knowledge and promoting learning within organizations.
