This study examines Russian Internet communities, specifically professional social networks that bring together members of the same profession. It investigates the correlation between speech etiquette features within these networks and the professions of their members, aiming to understand the communication goals, communicative situations, and values shaping speech etiquette. Analyzing speech activity in communities such as 'Dentistry', 'Overheard in the police', and 'Law dot ru', the study explores how professionals' speech activity influences the formation of speech etiquette in online professional networks.
