This paper explores how Filipinos utilize Facebook to engage in communal digital mourning, drawing upon the concept of pakikipagkapwa to express sympathy and share the burden of mourning. Guided by Filipino psychology and characteristics of online communities, the study analyzes posts from memorialized Facebook accounts to reveal how technology facilitates connections between the living and the dead.
